Ok before anybody raise their eyebrows...I too question my authority over the matter. But as Tr. Tina suggests, ordinary moms sharing their stories will help inspiring moms to go into business (so to speak, this is a public service). The program is called "Kapamilya Konek" and our segment "Kabuhayan Konek" lasted for 12minutes. The topic was "Bakit pwedeng magaling sa negosyo ang nanay" I was one of the two guests interviewed. Paola Loot of Mommy Treats was interviewed via phone patch (i think she's down with something).
The experience was different, compared with the other "makalaglag puso" TV5 Segment with Good Morning Club which I also took part last March. Over all it was still nerve wrecking! While im seated behind the microphone, the fixed camera (as seen in the upper right part of this photo) was focused on me the whole time! So whenever i speak my image will be switched on and broadcasted LIVE at DZMM teleradyo feed in local cable TVnetwork.
So for those who were able to listen in or view me during the DZMM TeleRadyo feed my apologies for my lack of expertise in Public speaking. Tao lang po :)
The rattling nerves are there, but the presence of my husband and daughter in the same room as I am helps a lot. Hayyy in this crazy world I'm in right now - they are my rock. Every time I get to do this thing- they are always there to support me. Honestly speaking the pressure to do good in this task is more of a good example to my daughter Nina - "that you can conquer anything!". Nina is very much aware of my fear in public speaking, so by example - Im demonstrating to her "how to face your fear".
